Thank you for your interest in the 2009 Illinois Summer Neuroscience Institute (ISNI). The online application for our program has been divided into three sections. The deadline for completion of all sections has been extended. We do request that you complete your application as soon as possible. Applications completed before February 15 are most likely to receive full consideration. The application is done in three steps, as follows:
General Information, Part I PLEASE NOTE: In the appropriate field, you must indicate whether you are eligible for the combination ISNI/Summer Research Opportunities Program (SROP). Only students with more than 45 credit hours are eligible for SROP participation. Participation in both ISNI and SROP at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign is extended to, but not limited to, students who are from racial and ethnic populations underrepresented in graduate programs at Illinois. Applicants should be citizens or permanent residents of the United States. Any undergraduate student who will not graduate before December 2009 is eligible to apply. A successful applicant will have at least a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or above (on a 4.0 scale). Fall 2008 semester grades must be recorded and submitted in an official transcript before eligibility is determined. If you have any questions, please contact Carolina Soto, our Illinois Summer Neuroscience Institute Fellow for 2009, at isni@life.uiuc.edu.
